Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password, and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at admin@gamesscroll.comif you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person — don't create an account for someone else without permission, or impersonate another person, brand, or creator.

You retain ownership of the posts, comments, messages, and other content you create and share on GamesScroll(“Your Content”). By posting Your Content, you grant GamesScroll a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it as necessary to operate and provide the Service — for example, showing your posts in feeds, thumbnails, and to people you share them with. This license ends when you delete the specific content or your account, except where it has already been shared with others as part of normal use of the Service (see the Privacy Policy's data retention section for how that works).

You're solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to post it. Don't post anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

GamesScroll has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. What's allowed here is spelled out in full in our Content Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: no nudity or sexual content, no harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward another user, no violence intended to shock, no spam or scams, no impersonation, no infringing content, and nothing illegal. We review posts before they go live and act on reports of content or accounts that violate this policy — including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts, immediately and without warning for severe violations.

If someone violates this policy, you can report the content, comment, message, or account directly in the app, and you can block any user at any time to stop seeing them and prevent them from contacting you — see the Content Policy's enforcement section for how reports are handled.

You also agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g. overloading our infrastructure, reverse-engineering the app).
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission.
• Use the Service for any purpose that's illegal or violates these Terms.

The Store section of the Service lists gaming-related products from third-party retailers and brands. Tapping “Buy” takes you to that retailer's own website to complete the purchase — GamesScrolldoes not process payments, handle shipping, or take a cut of these transactions. Any purchase you make is a transaction between you and that third-party retailer, governed entirely by their own terms, pricing, and return/refund policies, not ours. We do our best to keep listings accurate but don't guarantee price, availability, or condition of anything listed.

Some features rely on third-party services: Google and Apple for sign-in, and links out to game publishers' own storefronts from game pages. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for their availability or content.

The GamesScroll name, logo, app, and website (excluding Your Content and third-party content) are owned by GamesScrolland protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service normally.

You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or the Content Policy, or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service or other users — with notice where practical, and immediately for severe violations. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (like intellectual property and limitation of liability) continue to apply after your account is closed.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content posted by other users is accurate, appropriate, or lawful — we moderate the Service, but we can't review everything before it's reported.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GamesScrollwon't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including content posted by other users or third-party purchases made through Store links. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us directly in the twelve months before the claim — which, since the Service is free to use, is expected to be $0 for most users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
