Content Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
GamesScrollis a community built around sharing gameplay clips, creations, and conversation. That only works if the space is safe to post in and safe to browse. This policy explains what we don't allow, how we enforce it, and what happens if your content doesn't meet it.
1. Zero tolerance: toxicity and nudity
Toxicity and nudity are never tolerated on GamesScroll, under any circumstances. This is not a “first warning” policy for these two categories. Content that is sexually explicit, depicts nudity, or is harassing, hateful, or abusive toward any person or group will be rejected on first review and can result in an immediate, permanent account suspension — regardless of context, intent, or whether the content is framed as a joke.
2. What's prohibited
- Nudity and sexual content. No nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or content primarily intended to be sexually gratifying — including in thumbnails, profile photos, and banners.
- Harassment, hate speech, and abuse. No content that attacks, threatens, bullies, or demeans someone based on who they are, or that targets a specific person for harassment.
- Violence and gore. No content whose main purpose is to shock or disgust through graphic violence or gore.
- Spam and scams. No repetitive, misleading, or deceptive content, including fake giveaways and phishing links.
- Impersonation. No pretending to be another person, brand, or creator in a way intended to mislead.
- Copyright and IP infringement. Only post gameplay, footage, and creations you have the right to share.
- Illegal content. No content that is illegal to create, possess, or distribute where GamesScroll operates.
3. How enforcement works
Every video post uploaded to GamesScroll is held for human review before it becomes visible to anyone else, including on your own profile and the Explore feed — not just flagged content after the fact. A moderator reviews it against this policy before it goes live.
If your post is approved, it goes live and you're notified. If it's rejected, you're notified with the moderator's reason and a link back to this page; the post stays private to you and is never shown to anyone else. Rejected posts are not automatically deleted, but re-approval isn't automatic either — you're welcome to upload a new post that follows this policy.
Beyond pre-publish review, users can report already-live posts, comments, and accounts directly in the app; reports are reviewed by our moderation team, who can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy. Repeated or severe violations — and any violation of Section 1 — can result in permanent account suspension without further warning.
4. Reporting and appeals
If you see content or an account that violates this policy, report it directly in the app (on the post, comment, or profile). If you believe your content was rejected or removed in error, contact us at admin@gamesscroll.com and reference what was rejected/removed and when — we'll take a second look.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Content Policy as GamesScrollgrows. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use GamesScroll after a change means you accept the updated policy.
